 The girls (Christa & Meagan) met each other for the first
time in the Redondo Beach Galleria on July 26,1998. KIIS FM was hosting a free No Authority/Tatiana Ali concert! Christa was a couple people in front of Meagan. Then Meagan and her siter where trying to get the attention of their friend, formally known to the public as DJ JOJO Wright, who was on the other side of the fountain at the time. Just by luck, the girl between Meagan and Christa, as well as Christa herself, offered their help in getting JoJo's attention. Unfortunately, it was no use because of the noise. But more importantly, Meagan did manage to strike up a conversation with the other girl, Christa. Ever since that day, Meagan and Christa have kept in touch. They soon became close friends and fellow members of another musical group, but that group didn't last long due of many member changes due to lack of communication and committment. So Meagan and Christa went off on their own forming a new duo. The name Partners in Crime and Heartache is not to be taken literally. The name is to merely say that the girls have been best friends and will stick by eachother through thick and thin.
